Houston born Chauncy Sherod Armstrong is no stranger to traveling the world. The eight-year army veteran landed in NYC working with working and touring with the likes Action Bronson, P. Diddy, Estelle. etc. After spending years on the east coast, C.S set his sights on Los Angeles to pursue a new direction and name. Upon landing, the decision solidified itself as he began working with Dr. Dre, Terrace Martin, and Sa-Ra’s Taz Arnold. This lead to his next musical chapter.
Armstrong blends hip-hop, blues, and rock while staying true to his gospel roots. It’s a jambalaya of sound that you’ve never heard before, yet feels oddly familiar. It's that sound that's gotten the attention of COLORS Studio, Red Bull (Sound Select Artist), Air Jordan by Nike, and Call of Duty to name a few.
