美国著名交响乐团之一，非正式地称为“五巨头”。该乐团由钢琴家兼乐队指挥阿德拉·普伦蒂斯·休斯 ( Adella Prentiss Hughes)于 1918 年创立，大部分音乐会在塞弗伦斯音乐厅 (Severance Hall)举行。截至 2021 年，音乐总监为Franz Welser-Möst。2020 年 10 月，《纽约时报》称其为“美国最好的管弦乐团”，2012 年《留声机杂志》将其评为世界第七交响乐团。代表作《Berlioz: Tristia, Op. 18 - III. Marche funèbre pour la dernière scène d'Hamlet》
