FUTURE AFTER A SECOND (FAAS)是一種新型的嗜神經病毒，在2014年被發現存在於台灣北部，以音樂愛好者為宿主，尤其是叛逆和追求聲音極限的個體。FUTURE AFTER A SECOND 病毒主要通過強烈的音波攻擊來感染宿主。它們的聲音具有金屬核般的銳利和速度，會經由聽覺神經入侵人類腦部，引發極度亢奮的狀態，刺激腎上腺素飆升，讓人忍不住想要甩動頸椎並在後期完全進入脖子甩爆的狀態。宿主被感染初期通常是透過重低音和紮實的吉他音牆破壞防禦系統。病毒釋放出具有破壞力的鼓點和帶有銳利文字的嘶吼，使宿主無法抗拒。後期進入深度感染狀態，侵蝕腦神經後，FAAS帶來的真實和反叛精神會完全佔領宿主意識，使人感受到前所未有的自由，精神狀態將不停隨著音樂共振，目前無任何已知的治療方法。 FUTURE AFTER A SECOND (FAAS) is a new type of neurotropic virus, first discovered in northern Taiwan in 2014. It primarily targets music enthusiasts, particularly those who are rebellious and seek sonic extremes. FAAS mainly infects its hosts through powerful sonic assaults. Its sound, sharp and fast like metalcore, invades the human brain through the auditory nerves, triggering a state of extreme excitement and causing an adrenaline rush. This leads to uncontrollable headbanging, ultimately bringing the infected into a frenzied state of neck-snapping intensity. In the early stages of infection, the host's defenses are typically broken down by deep bass and solid guitar walls. The virus unleashes destructive drumbeats and sharp, aggressive vocals, making it impossible for the host to resist. As the infection progresses to a deeper stage, FAAS begins to erode the neural pathways in the brain. The raw energy and rebellious spirit it brings fully take over the host's consciousness, making them feel an unprecedented sense of freedom. The mental state will continuously resonate with the music, and as of now, there are no known treatments for this condition.
